BIO:

For over fifteen years, Rhonda J. Greenhaw has been at the forefront of autism support and advocacy, blending her professional expertise as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst with her personal experience as the mother of a young adult on the autism spectrum. A former Professional Fellow with the U.S. State Department’s Empowerment

Project and the former Director of the Hussman Center for Adults on the Autism Spectrum at Towson University, Rhonda is an advocate for neurodiversity and acceptance in ABA practice. Her innovative Empowerment Model shifts away from traditional deficit-based approaches, focusing instead on growth, self-advocacy, and

acceptance.

Rhonda provides services with practical, evidence-based strategies to support families from diagnosis through adulthood. Her approach combines ABA principles with a neurodiversity perspective, fostering autonomy, connection, and a sense of belonging for individuals on the autism spectrum and their families.

Through practical advice, compassionate insights, and real-life examples, Ms.Greenhaw equips families and the people on the spectrum they love with the tools they need to implement ABA in a way that aligns with neurodiversity, strengthens family bonds, and embraces the uniqueness of each individual. Currently, she practices

nationally and internationally, with direct service provisions in the Miami, Ft. Lauderdale area, the Orlando area and the north Atlanta area. Her new book, “Empowering Families: A Neurodiversity Approach to ABA Parent Training” will soon be available on

Audible.
