Rhonda J. Greenhaw, MA, BCBA, is a leading expert in autism advocacy and ABA with over 30 years of experience in disability services. She lead the Hussman Center for Adults on the Spectrum at Towson University, and was a former Professional Fellow with the U.S. State Department’s Empowerment Project, she has worked internationally to advance autism support. In addition, the authored the chapter on Adult Autism for Frontiers In Autism Research. As a professor at Towson University and a course designer for the graduate ABA program at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, she has shaped the field through education and research. Her neurodiversity-affirming Empowerment Model shifts ABA from a deficit-based approach to one centered on growth and self-advocacy. Practicing nationally and internationally, she provides direct services in Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando, and north Atlanta.
